The Buddhist pagoda alleged Konpon Daito at Mount Koya, in Wakayama province, Japan, represents the axial point of a mandala accoutrement all of Japan according to Shingon Buddhist doctrine. Mount Koya, amid east of Osaka, was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004 and was aboriginal acclimatized in 819 by the Buddhist abbot Kukai, architect of the Shingon camp of Japanese Buddhism.
